Already There
Brighten the darkness of this world
show me your light
let your glow encompass me
till I become intoxicated by your glory.
Oh for the brush of your fingertips upon my cheek...
Your love is like no other.
I long to dwell in your shadow
and drink of your goodness.
Your words are a sumptuous meal to my starving soul,
extend me but a crumb Lord, for indeed I shall be filled.
Your cool waters quench even the most barren recesses of this flesh,
for in You, I am completely fulfilled.
