Greater understanding
quiet emotions bind.
Adepts in search of truth
some beliefs raised on high.
In cresting waves of passion
religious power and influence grows
formed within the sea of truth
blown by winds of change.
Without the need to analyse
and paralyse your mind
swells of understanding grow
still open to some change.
Beliefs emotional scattered wave
appears as whitecaps in the storm
to rise and fall within the mind
waves of consciousness formed.
The ocean's depth absorbs these waves
to let them rise again
swells form as they combine
to share a common end.
Driven, building, cresting high
the truth resides below.
Born upon these ancient depths
power and influence grows.
Until resistance finds a home
within the carnal mind where
reefs of judgment slow these waves
lives falter as they combine.
A shallow base of righteous power
so impressive to behold
washed out upon the sands of time
around the sea of souls.
