 The Unfairness Of Angels

dreamweavertheunfairnessofangels
Seducing an American Girl Elvis style

My ruin is my fantasy
Is what I think when I play with her hair next to me
“When a boy like me meets a girl like you
Then I must believe wishes come true”
Even if I was a “GI and I'm blue”
I tell her she's in my smile and cries
She smiles and whispers to me cause she's wise
“You're the devil in disguise
Oh yes you are
The devil in disguise”
I kiss her and tell ‘ well that's a surprise'
I play with my imaginary quiff and look into her eyes
“Girl, girl, girl
You gonna set me on fire
My brain is flaming
I don't know which way to go”
she hits me playfully “shut up you fool I'm watching this TV show”
I tell her “Don't be cruel to a heart that's true.”
“for I can't help falling in love with you”
but “I got a woman, Mean as she can be”
“Matthew!” she snaps tartly I'm watching telly
She then turns to me and says “ you know you're my unchained melody”
“Because I love you too much baby”
There's only king and that's Elvis
But I am “I'm Stuck on you” and your pelvis! x
