I find my mind has gone astray again
It does that oh so often of late
I do hope I can find it in time to join me
The trip would be so long without it
Mindless wondering within the confines of my tomb
Never knowing which way to go, what path to take
Missing all those wonderful thoughts
Not knowing if someone is visiting or just knocking on my tomb
How could I serve tea without my mind to pick the kind
Where would my shoes wonder off too
Who would I talk to, only the pounding sand within my tomb
Hurry, run fast, it is almost time
Come home before it is to late
I await within my emptiness...
