…My Space…

I thought I'd take a drive today,
So I went down to the beach…
But someone had stolen ‘my space,'
The only seat I can reach!

So I had to trundle home again,
Without gazing into the sea…!
That's how I blow the cob-webs away,
That's the best therapy for me!

But there were people everywhere,
No room for me to park the car,
That's ‘my space' they took,
They come from wide and far!

But me I'm there all the time,
When I feel sad or blue…
It helps me to clear my mind,
And lets happy thoughts flow on through.

But when I can't get to where I want to be,
It's a little upsetting to say the least,
But hey, when they've all had to go home,
I have ‘my space' back, and lots of peace!
