A Fine Mess

For My Senator, You Know Who You Are ~

Well my friend, you're in a fine mess
not sure you understood me, I must confess,
your issues are easy if you look them in the eye-
but first off, you must be willing to try.

You tell of your problems, issues and woes
pretty much typical, as the story goes,
a spouse that's too moody and kids spoiled brats
you do love your job but, that is that!

I so want to help you get free from this stress
but our physical gap is far from best
at times you need a hug or a pat on the back,
yet geography an issue, our relationship lacks.

You call me your "Mentor", so LISTEN my friend,
stress is a killer so you better reign it in!
Step up to the plate, start swinging hard,
your heart and happiness a treasure to guard.

Inform your spouse of her physical you've planned
issue a "reality check" to your spoiled brats,
let them know "there will be NO MORE of this nonsense"
you've had it with THEIR monkey on YOUR back!

Yes, I'm straight forward, I just say it like it is
but I call honesty REAL FRIENDSHIP, my dear friend.
You can never be happy until you break free of this stress
and I'm here to tell you...you're in a fine mess.
