Magical Tune

I heard a song the other day
Playing on the radio,
It was all about falling in love
And finding peace with God above,
He sang about the times that were bad
But he mostly rejoiced at the happiness he had,
While I listened to this song being sung
I couldn't help thinking about the things I've done,
I thought of all the happy times
The joyful and the glad
I thought of all the heartbreak
The days I felt so sad,
And as his voice began to fade
Only music filled the air
I felt a sense of happiness
And lost my thoughts of despair,
I could not help thinking
Indeed what a wonderful thing,
How some simple words and music
Can make my heart sing
