When Love Comes Calling!I tried so hard I really did, To move forward, lose my pain, But all this time – I couldn't, For I hurt over and over again. I tried to let it go and forget, But no matter how I tried… I just couldn't, no matter what, I just cried, and cried and cried. I didn't know how I felt in my heart, So confused and bewildered was I… I didn't know what to do… And instead of letting it go, I would cry. But a decision had to be made. And it could only come from me, I knew the time was now… And I didn't know what it would be… Then one night I had this dream, And it all became clear to me… That the choice had to be made, couldn't be delayed, And suddenly – the choice was clear to see. So then - one night it came to pass, That all my confused thoughts disappeared, And then I knew, with all certainty, All my doubts and worries had cleared. Choice made, and it was the right one, No more living in doubt for me, For just like that, love appeared, And he was all I'd see. I loved and lost, was broken hearted, And thought I would never move on, But I realized when love came calling… It dawned on me that at last – I won! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
