Us
I used to think that it would be forever
the images faded and all I was left with was gray
it isn't clear what happened
over time we just grew apart until we both sensed
we were on opposite fields
I look back and try to run back
only the force that once held us tight
pulls me back, even now you move uneasy
I can only guess on your motives
the saddest part is we can't control this
blink of an eye a tear appears
I miss us, I can only wonder if you do
my pain has entered my only refuge
it sucks my soul and wears in this brain
it cripples my pen and closed my heart to your name
I can't ever utter it because it hurts too much....
