So here is the other poem about unconditional love, Hope you like it
My loyalty is unquestionable
No matter how objectionable
The treatment my master gives
I survive from day to day
In my own world in which I dream I play
Amongst fields of green
To run and let my problems fly
Let the winds take them high in the sky
Then I needn't ever wonder
where my next meal is coming from
Or have to cower in the corner of my yard
Because he's had too much drink and
Lost at the cards
Never to have to taste the whip
Wonder is this will be my final trip
Beaten to the edge of my skin
Bones showing, far too thin
Dirty, filthy, lying in rottenness
Knowing that he doesn't care less
But when I was younger, he was sober then
We would walk for miles
Climb hills, down dales and over countless styles
Where I could walk, run and swim in streams
When all was normal then or so it seemed
But then it all changed
It went horribly wrong,
He'd take to the bottle again
And I always got the blame
But what can I do
I cannot leave
For I'm chained to the kennel
With too strong a lead
But even if I were free
I couldn't leave him,
Because you see
He is my master, all that I know
I love him too much
I couldn't go!
