WE POET'S LIKE LOST SOUL'S
Can it be that we yes we?
The poets of the world,
All searching for the words,
Are mealy lost as well?
Looking to the stars,
Each and every night,
Searching for the way,
Looking for the light.
Grasping at perfection,
Hoping for a sign,
Dreaming of our heaven,
A place that is divine.
Souls of life and love,
Each poem that we write,
Expressing giving answers,
All day and every night.
Like droplets in the ocean,
In a million miles of sea,
Are we all just floating,
Awaiting what’s to be.
Rarely looking forward,
We mainly all look back,
Asking questions why,
The reason was for that.
With our pen to paper,
The words we all put down,
Then show the poets around us,
To see what they have found.
So can it be that we,
The poet’s of the world,
Each one of us is searching,
For we ‘re lost soul’s as well.
