Waiting
Looking at you, I smile
in spite of my fears and insecurities
that come out and haunt me
well I have learned to make them my companions
I won't stop until I know for sure
that our future doesn't have hope
I won't give up no not this time
contentment escaped my brain
but that's okay on the edge is fine
do you feel you can take my hand?
I will live if you say no
but I can no longer hide my feelings or spit some lies
you are the one I want
I can't settle for not even trying
long shots have won before
I don't have anything unique to offer
except my love and it's the only feeling
I can past on and through you
I am holding back counting the memories
until I know you truly want me
the way I want you.....
