The words we utter can make or break a person. Harsh terminologies will create a criminal instead of a law-abiding citizen. Ruthless enunciation will produce animosity and pain while a sympathetic advice can give us a genius or a compassionate professional.
It is believed that the words we convey can put a person's feet back on the ground and take him in shape again. He can be inspired, encouraged and willing to face life's reality and tribulation. But an ill-mannered communication will put his life in vain.
Studies reveal that most of the suicide cases exist as a result of oral defamation, lack of verbal/emotional consideration and verbal wrangling. The parents of the young kid should be aware that sarcasm and oral scuffle will lead to their child's early demise or annihilation.
If we can only show even a little empathy and soft words then we can be of help to those upset, bewildered and depressed individuals. If we can't do these, we better keep quiet than be the caused of pain, humiliation and devastation of certain people. – SALLIE, thePoeticJournalist/Toronto, July 2/04
