Break Of Dawn
It's just so beautiful
and everyday gift, the dawn of a new day
a brand new start even if we don't deserve it
it's a blessing and I am thankful
it's a privilege just to live
many others before me no longer get to
I know one day my time will come
but it isn't quite here yet
there is still so much unlived life in this tank
and man am I going to enjoy these days and seconds
there is so much that could be wrong
but my struggles I have made through
a smile appears, my arms are raised
basking in the sun man nothing ever felt so good on my face
because right in this moment I feel so alive
so heavenly when I look to the skies
I have made it this far, my footsteps will lead me to more
just a matter of time until I reach the real deal
that majestic promised land
but until then I will have to settle
for the break of dawn....
