KINGSGROVE
I found the truth in a jar today,
courage in the cupboard.
I found no meaning in them,
so I kept on looking.
Someone told me I'd find happiness
in the laundry.
I looked.
Who was I when I searched
behind the dressing table?
You should have seen what I found.
Everywhere I searched
I know I had looked before.
Just when I thought
I knew everything
I ever wanted to know,
I forgot it.
I should have written it down
on a white piece of paper.
Who knows when I'll ever
know anything again.
