Words of Life, Love and Praise
Bend My Ear
Sometimes it's hard to say
what's really on your mind-
We worry what others may think
or fear our words will cause someone pain.
Please don't fear me…
Tell me how you really feel-
I won't turn away from you
Nor shall I be hurt by your honesty.
“That we resist shall persist”
a little phrase I repeat to myself
when I find I'm jousting with windmills…
Perhaps you might give it a try?
Open your heart and your mind
Let it all roll off your tongue-
I guarantee you will feel better
and I promise to answer you truly-
We promised one another long ago
to always be there for the other…
well, here am I. Bend my ear.
what's really on your mind-
We worry what others may think
or fear our words will cause someone pain.
Please don't fear me…
Tell me how you really feel-
I won't turn away from you
Nor shall I be hurt by your honesty.
“That we resist shall persist”
a little phrase I repeat to myself
when I find I'm jousting with windmills…
Perhaps you might give it a try?
Open your heart and your mind
Let it all roll off your tongue-
I guarantee you will feel better
and I promise to answer you truly-
We promised one another long ago
to always be there for the other…
well, here am I. Bend my ear.
