Every night before I go to bed
I ask myself this;
If you knew me
would you be my friend?
If you could see
would you understand?
Would you know
what I feel is true?
Would it show
that I love you?
It's hard to know
what would happen.
I'll just have to wait and see
what fate will bring me.
I just hope when that day comes
with me you'll fall in love.
So I ask myself again,
If you knew who I was
would you see?
If you knew my name
could you fall in love
with a nobody like me?
