Windmills

The Smokey bar, and same old faces
I have seen with these eyes different places
But same old stories on a Friday night
Stager back home alone under the pale moonlight
Nothing changes, but when it does it comes back round
reminds of that familiar sound
Of canned laughter and cheap thrills
A returning circle, just like windmills

Monday to Friday, nine to five
designer smiles to stay alive
Happy,fun, new generation
Caught in the whirlwind of consumer masturbation
being single, married or just dating
tick tock, tick tock, whilst the minds calculating
Fast food diet, microwave meals
Not stopping to say hi, cause we know how he feels
I won't die young if i take these pills
Same old story, going around, just like windmills

Windmills
