It’s hard to fathom
this mind-boggling status quo,
I am so much in adoration of you
day in and day out;
How can I elaborate the feelings
I do have for you, honey,
How can I elucidate the euphoria
I felt since you and I met?
You are one of the few reasons
why I am in high spirits,
You’re the cynosure who revived
my inclination once more;
To pour my heart out anew
expressing my inner thoughts,
I’m now a restored versifier
and into creative writings.
You make me feel young again
in the age gap we have,
For it doesn’t matter anymore
as long as we love each other;
You come into conclusion
to bring back the life I deserve,
By accepting who I am
and still loving me the way I am.
I can be compared to a bird
soaring high up in the sky,
Flying in the midst of the horizon,
so joyful and free;
Thank you, sweetheart,
for bringing out the best in me,
And I do promise to love you
from the bottom of my heart.
