As the darkness crept across the sky,
The girl awoke though she knew not why,
Her eyes perceived the storm to be
and her voice alone whispered to me.
I came to her and saw her pain.
She was darkened in the shadow of rain,
She looked at me, and started to cry,
I helped her up and wiped her eyes,
I took her hand and led her through
till the earth was brilliantly new.
And then a secret she whispered here,
and her laughter touched me ear.
"Like me, you should know this too,
