Your eyes in mine-all that you are
our hands....joining journeys past-
all of yesterday-
growing through tomorrow-
embracing the moment
No more longing to fill the space-
that only we can fill
At times our spirits uniting like-
in prayer...only one spirit-
and the moment we're in
Not a day can I emagine-
with-out the elevation of your laughter nor-
like the innate gift of a roadrunners speed-
and agility....your witt
Your heart experienced in trial, now lit-
with love that filters through..you..to me
A humilty underneith it all..
A powerful presence ..still there-
when you leave the room...an afterglow-
of the fullness of all that you are...
with bold charm abroad the man-
flowing in a soul of depth
An appreciation for all that God has done and is doing
A willingness to bow-
and throw to the side the proud horses head-
and emerge through with the beauty of your nature
A strong stature held high in quick strides-
of joy and anticipation of the next step
A playful boy...a precious child-
escaping a tormented shadow-
strolling a head in loves grasp
passing by the silly word-
this time remembering to feel-
this time keeping it real
Talented in words and deeds
Abundant in gifts
Sharp as steeds......darting in a distance-
in the light of the early sunset
Fountains flow treasures in my heart-
that you would lay yours bare before your God-
before your woman-
to chance new journeys revalations-
beneith the cool mask
A warm, tender heart with much to give-
an openess to receive-
for what God has for you through me-
I'm so glad I didn't settle for less
than God's chosen one for me
