You Don't Know Me

I missed that life where I thought everything made sense
I sailed on a dream because I never had a real chance
you tell me I am a disappointment
funny how you never really knew me then
the sad part is you still don't and pro ably never will
I made choices at the time I thought was right
sorry if kissing your a** wasn't a priority
the reason I sometimes don't speak
is not because I am scared, I am tired of never being heard
so don't ever throw on me that I am cold
because you don't know me
well whose fault is this? you scream....
let me think for a second
I recall you first left, you turned me away
sorry I didn't lick my wounds and beg you to stay
I thought real love was letting that person go
when clearly that no longer want to stay
you have no right to judge my decisions
do you remembering cutting my strings?
well I do, the vivid memory is my reminder
you don't know me and I don't owe you....
