Words of Life, Love and Praise

No Regard

Such beauty in this clear azure sky
Not a single cloud to be seen,
Just a gentle breeze caressing the leaves
among the various trees of bloom.
The palm queen stands waving high above,
As though she were calling to those she loves.
The myrtle flaunts her glorious crepe
In fabulous color far beyond compare,
And the bougainvillea stretches her vines far and wide
That she may amaze the passers by.
High above all sits the huge mountain top
as a strong sentinel standing guard,
though so few even notice his grandeur-
going about their way, paying him no regard.
