Hungry For Romance... 2004

Hungry For Romance

I'm hungry for romance. Deep, long kisses shared by two naked lovers shadowed only by

candlelight. Softly, slowly caressing one another's bodies without a thought of where the

touch may lead. Hushed voices speaking only of love and devotion and undying

friendship. I am so hungry for the simple, pure feeling of real, natural love. The hands of

time should stand still. No sound should distract them, who with passion in their hearts

and on their lips share in the ecstasy of one another's bodies. How long must I wait for

my lover to join with me on such a romantic journey? How am I to express my desire and

my longing to he who is so close yet so illusive to my dreams of forever? Fear is my

constant companion. In a heartbeat, he could fade from me. The word forever has never

fallen from his lips. I have spoken to him of forever. I have pushed him back out of my

fear and then cried deep into the night to be held safe in his presence. Strong arms to hold

me. Soft words to comfort my spirit. Eyes filled with love to fulfill me. Dreams to be

shared as one. I long for him, my truest love. I'm hungry for romance. I'm hungry for he,

who embraces my passion, my love and my longing.

I miss you……
Please come home……
