Blow A Kiss

I sit here in this empty silence
The cold chills me to the bone
A feeling that has become so familiar
Now that I am far away from home

Time only goes as fast as it wills
No wishing or praying will change
All I have is a voice and a photograph
Deep in my heart that will remain

So what more can I do but think
Of a time I will lie within your arms
Stretched out on a blanket...so warm
Looking up to a sky filled with stars

I peer out past the frosted glass
For the stars are a thought I can't dismiss
Feeling your arms embrace me for a moment
Forgetting where I am and blowing a kiss
