 Little Toy Phone

Dell's Sig Cell

I walked to my little boys room, he was sitting on the floor,
dialing numbers on a toy phone, I watched him from the door.
The little numbers jingling, then i heard him say,
hello Jesus can you hear me, will You teach my Daddy to pray.

All the breath rushed out of me, I fell down on my knees,
as I heard him askin, Jesus can you save my Daddy please.
He said goodbye Jesus, can the Angels sing me to sleep,
all that I could do, was hang my head and weap.

I picked up my sleeping little boy,and tucked him into bed,
then placed that little toy phone, on the pillow by his head.
Leaning down to kiss him, I let out a sigh,
coming from that little toy phone, I heard an Angels lullabye.
