…When The Road Given Is So Hard…When the road given is so hard… And He gives us these crosses to bear, That's because He knows we will fight, And always know that He is there! When things are getting so very hard, And you really can't take any more, Give it up to God… Because that's what He's there for! He gives us these tests of faith, But He never lets us fall! For He is watching ready to catch…! Ready to do His All… Every trial we are given is a test, And every test is a steep hill to climb, The steeper the hill, the more we fight! But we do it;' One-Day-At-A-Time!' Every morning that I awake, …This is what I do… Look in the mirror and tell myself… ‘One-Day-At-A-Time' - and it works, its true! And every time I feel like crying, When my pain is so out of sight, I tell myself, today's almost over, And soon it will be night. And at night when I go to bed, I give it all up to God… And yes, He hears me every time I pray, Even though He's a busy bod! He takes my burden from me, And helps me in my pain, To deal with life, and all its strife, Until I am stronger once again! I never face tomorrow, For tomorrow's a brand new day, It maybe full of pain and strife, …But I do it with what I say… …‘One-Day-At-A-Time'… That's what gets me through my life! ‘One-Day-At-A-Time' Helps me bear my pain and strife!
