Crystal Chandeliers
Well- blessed was he
Though shattered dreams
Lay strewn throughout his mind.
Like broken glass,
As far removed
From crystal chandeliers.
Ill-fortune blamed he for the life
That bound him now to here
‘Twas not misfortune
Bound him thus
‘Twas crystal chandeliers
