I recently met some ANGEL friends and spent an afternoon with them.
They are all beautiful, kind-hearted, funny and fun-loving angels, and I should be writing all about them, I really, really should !!!!
But even after all the hugs, and chatter, and laughing, and being waited on hand and foot~~~~All that pales when compared to the
Joy of Holding a newborn baby in your arms, cuddling him, and praying for his future.
so, first, I must write about The Joy of Jesse
A TINY SOUL, SO DELICATE OF FEATURE
GOD HAS CREATED THIS BEAUTIFUL CREATURE
AND PLACED HIM IN A LOVING HOME
TO GROW, TO SEE WHAT HE WOULD BECOME.
TINY FINGERS GRASP TO HOLD MY FINGER
AND I PULL HIM CLOSE AND MARVEL AT
HOW PERFECTLY HE HAS BEEN CREATED
MY CURIOSITY IS UNABATED.
THE SCENT OF HIM, A HEAVENLY BREEZE,
HIS CHEEKS KISSED BY ANGELS' WORDS,
SOFTLY KISSING HIS FACE, I DO BELIEVE
IS LIKE TOUCHING THE FACE OF THE LORD.
I EXPERIENCED THE JOY OF JESSE
I HELD HIM FOR HOURS IT SEEMS
PERSONIFIED PERFECTION IS JESSE
I STILL HOLD HIM IN MY DREAMS.
