He was born in a manger
To a humbled virgin mother
She was accepted by her husband
But riduculed by many other
A simple carpenter by trade
Born with the weight of a nation
The Savior of all mankind
To deliver us to salvation
He took the weight of the world
And turned no man away
So as to honor him on his birth
We celebrate Christmas Day
He gave his life so we may live
For eternity after we are laid to rest
So now I ask you dear friend
Do you give Christ your best
