Sometimes I despise
that 4-letter word,
you don't understand
how often its heard!
I can't plug my ears,
out of mind out of sight.
I can't tape their mouths shut,
it wouldn't be right!
I try to have coffee,
it always gets cold!
I can't watch TV,
I miss the story thats told!
I start to the bathroom,
that word is cried out.
Its yelled out on purpose,
there isn't a doubt!
That word runs me in circles,
and inside and out!
It sticks in my brain,
till I just want to shout!
I can't talk on the phone,
the words loud you see!
If I go out the door,
the word follows me!
My nerves are shot,
my hair has turned gray!
I need my rest ,
before I start the next day!
I love my Grandkids,
from Jacqueline to Hannah!
But give me a break,
that 4-letter word spells NANA!

wrote this one day after babysitting 5 of my 6 grandbabies, they all seemed to be having an I want day every two minutes all day long, and by the end of the day i was praying for the guys in the little white suits to take me away, lol
