A little girl called Tulips, sold tulips along the street,
to hear her chant this little verse, was such a special treat.
"They call me Little Tulips, these tulips are my own,
just a nickel for my tulips, so I can hurry home.
I water them everyday, and cut them fresh you see,
and if tulips you want tomorrow, right here is where i'll be".
Everyone bought her tulips, but came to see her smile,
or some just to stand, and hear her voice awhile.
Then one day the street was quite, Little Tulips wasn't there,
they missed her flowers, and the love, she always seemed to share.
Now Little Tulips up in Heaven, on a street of pearly white,
an Angel now in everyway, shes such a lovely sight.
Now when they walk that street, they cry a little tear,
they close their eyes and look up, and this is what they hear.
"They call me Little Tulips, these tulips are my own,
just a nickel for my tulips, so I can hurry home.
I water them everyday, and cut them fresh you see,
so if tulips you want tomorrow, right here is where i'll be".
