All the dinosaurs came and got Barney
And so we bond.

Colliding dreams
colliding
thoughts
and dreams
they blend
and mend
and become
friends,
and make a
chain of
poetry that
never seems
to end
here, lie one
in it's splendour
around your neck,
with great respect
and giggle as you
clasp it's dangling
participle's speck.
run each detail
each beaded verb
in slow rolls
cross your tongue,
then give a
perfect reading
and a bright smile
when you're done
there's poetry
in everyplace
in everything we see,
it's up to you and me
to root it out
and set it free
it's in my pants
it's in her glance,
it dances in my shoes
it leaps with joy,
like giddy boys
and wails a saxes blues
just open up
and let the words
come through
don't ever worry
what non-poets might
think of you
they'll love you
for your courage
