There once was a man
of very great deeds
Also a man was he
with a great many needs
With each good token
he had bestowed
He had dark desires
and evil soon followed
He would give you the moon
and take away your soul
He would grant your wishes
but you paid the toll
He would make you happy
for a very short while
Than take away the laughter
til' you couldn't even smile
He turned glass into diamonds
and stones into gems
He would shatter your spirit
like petals off their stems
Just when you thought you were happy
he'd yank out your heart
Then you knew you were beaten
He the painter, you the art
