He patiently awaits for his time to come.
His time to departure from this cruel harsh world.
He doesn't want to fall in love,
for he wouldn't want to leave this girl.
He wouldn't want her to cry and hurt,
when god comes knocking on his door.
His heart gets weaker with every day that goes by,
doctor said he had three weeks then he would die.
He lives his life like he always has
he didn't make a change,
working hard to make money to leave to his son
he wants to leave everything arranged.
I try to help I tell him to have faith
I will be there when he needs a friend.
I pray every night so god will keep him safe,
If I lose him my heart won't ever mend.
He's so young he doesn't deserve to die
but god decides when it's our time.
It's the murmur in his heart that's taking his life
so he patiently waits as he says it's his time.
