 My Soul Saviour
You held out your hand to grasp mine
as the stars appeared one by one.
We spoke few words, and lay still together
on the soft quilt, made from satin and silk.
In your eyes I saw a sparkle of electric blue,
as the soft pallet of your face caught the pure
white light of the moon.

The aroma of violets filled the cool air as
incense burned slowly, capturing the very essence
of a summer garden. We looked at each other with
love and tender affection, thinking about the future
with great anticipation; and as the stars shone we
became entangled as one.

You are the keeper of my heart, the protector of
thoughts and feelings inside my mind. At a point in
life where my head was full of confusion, you gave
me the chance to come to a new conclusion.

This day you rescued me from despair, like a ship
on blue water you sailed into my life. It was then when
you became my soul Saviour. I touched your tender lips
with the magic finesse of my finger-tips, and as you were
sleeping, I held you tight.

We slept for hours that day until the sun rose again the
following morning and we were held in each others arms forever.
