Finding Myself
There's a room inside my heart
Where a little girl hides away
Kept safe from the pains and sorrows
She knows as her yesterday
I hold her existance in my hands
Like some unseen magical key
Knowing that if I open my heart
I would finally set her free
Could I teach her how to trust
When I can barely do it all
Would I help her to learn to stand
When I continue to fall
Should I take my chances now?
To wake her before it's too late
Or leave the cobwebs on her eyes
And hand the keys to fate
