...My Friend Dan...Dan, I want to tell you something, And this is from my heart! So listen to what I tell, And sit nice while words I shall impart. We got to know each other through surfing, And e-mailed each other for a chat, And as time passed we became close friends, And that was the beginning of that! We have a laugh all the time, You really are a star you know, And no matter what; and no matter when, You'll be in my heart wherever you go! You always make me smile Dan, Because we have such a laugh! Me and you, that's Dan, my friend, And this silly poet called Cath! You drew me some lovely pictures, To compliment the poems I write, But then something happened and I lost them, Vanished, out of sight! Because my computer broke, And my heart went west that day, Because I'd lost those special pictures, And I wasn't feeling okay. But then you told me not to worry, Because you would do more for me, And yes, I know you will too! Cos you're a lovely man, you see! In that; you've such a lovely heart, Yep, you really do! So I wanted to send this special poem, Especially from me, to you! You have a lovely twinkly smile! And a cheeky face full of fun! Not only that, but I have to say You've got a lovely tan on your bum! (Well, it rhymed)! But Dan, when we meet up, I know what you'll want to eat! Pizza, bloody pizza! Cos you love that cheese and meat! Anyway, where was I? Oh, yes, about this fella Dan, me mate, You are a star, oh yes, you are! And we're gona make a meeting date! We have been friends for so long now, It was a certainty that we'd meet, And I am really pleased about that, Cos you're a friend so sweet!
