For A Moment, Sadness

Tears to slip crimson
From the daintiest of wrists
Like a wound severed open
From loves' parting kiss

A whispered farewell
As blood runs so cold
A maiden to remember
When stories are told

Tales of a heart
That once did rejoice
That faltered and fell
Without nary a choice

Each drop now to cleanse
All mistake ever made
To wash and to rid
Memories of love she had gave

For a moment, sadness
Naught to be felt again
And with pride she will rise
Just to meet her end
