Poetic Verses
Gone
Gone away is family
leaving just impending doom
No comforts of a home save for
existence in one dark room
Displaced, now, is self worth and spirit
for nothing left to care
Job is gone, possessions too
the walls are gray and bare
All that's left is time to fill,
no money left to live,
memories of a time that was
and nothing left to give
When sleep comes at night, to dream,
do nightmare pictures play
of people that were once dear
that have all been drawn away
And should that existence ever cease,
amid all it's woe and dread,
may water rush around it, then,
memory and body dead

leaving just impending doom
No comforts of a home save for

Displaced, now, is self worth and spirit
for nothing left to care
Job is gone, possessions too

All that's left is time to fill,
no money left to live,
memories of a time that was
and nothing left to give
When sleep comes at night, to dream,
do nightmare pictures play
of people that were once dear

And should that existence ever cease,
amid all it's woe and dread,
may water rush around it, then,
