View From My Window
I have Not Slept In Forty Winks This Winter
Well maybe just one wink
minus thirty-nine,
please bear with
me I'm no
mathematician.
Ice begins to form
on my mustache
but there is
no snow on the ground.
Soon it begins
to snow. I count each
snowflake as it swirls down
and melts on a child's
outstretched palm.
minus thirty-nine,
please bear with
me I'm no
mathematician.
Ice begins to form
on my mustache
but there is
no snow on the ground.
Soon it begins
to snow. I count each
snowflake as it swirls down
and melts on a child's
outstretched palm.
