…My White Top, My Jeans, And I…

As I stood before the sea wall,
In my jeans and my white top…!
The salt water splashed upon me,
Little by little, drop by drop.

The splashing all around me,
Threw water everywhere...
Soaked my top, soaked my jeans,
And I didn't even care.

Soaked to the skin, but happy,
That's how I was this day,
Standing before that water,
As the salt began to spray!

The legs of my jeans were splashed,
But I didn't care didn't worry,
Still I stood, soaking it up,
To leave, I was in no hurry!

I watched as people ran past,
Trying their best to stay dry…
As I watched them scramble into their car,
I just couldn't understand why!

So as they hurried out of the way,
Of the wind and splashing sea,
I wondered what they saw…
When they turned and looked at me…

They would see a stupid person,
For they didn't know what was in my head,
Only I, and the wind and the sea…
…Knew what just couldn't be said…

...Contentment, Enjoyment And Peace...
