View From My Window

failures of a mad scientist

where are you did you get the letter
I sent yesterday
the one about my failings
as a scientist?

I've discovered nothing
in the past few
days I haven't gotten a wink of
sleep all I have to
show for it is my

in.
som.
ni.a.

I am walking in semi circles
around the shapeless
mitochondria floating
in my test tubes
but

none of the colors
match the color of
my eyes I'll
have to go to J.C. Penny's
tomorrow,

they're having a sale on jeans
two pairs for the price of one,
you know, I need a pair
for my next experiment...
or maybe I'll just buy
Speariment gum.

(Note:  Mostly streams of consciousness-or incoherant ramblings-about writer's block.)
