 God's Love Through Poetry

Faith Of Wings


Lord, give me the faith to mount wings
as an eagle that takes it's flight
may I find your wisdom to help
my heart know what is right.

May I fly higher than the treetops
move mountains with my prayers
may I prove that your love
answers and is forever there.

Let others find beauty
and the strength that they need
when they see how high
faith can bring the joy to succeed.

so Lord, whatever it takes
to soar the greatest heights
may I find enough faith to accomplish
your journey's ongoing flight.
