View From My Window

if I wanted to

if I wanted to
I could probably fill in
a vacant spot on the hard-edged bean
bag chair I got for $24.45 at the local
Walmart brightly lit and full of
bright faces the place felt extremely
small even for me but the bean bag chair made it worthwhile.

It now rests on the
top of the hill after lugging it
from my caravan (yellow, of course, yellow
as the sun like star bathing down on me in its warm glow right
before evening) and I sat there and
stared at nothing.
Through the branches until
on the edge of my laptop
I want to work my words
into something different I felt (saw)
heard the wind sighing through the woodliness
of the trees as I wrote, head hunched
over the keyboard, eyes listening for the stars.
