View From My Window
Dementia
The white petals fall around me
like snowflakes
the wind roars in my ears
like an old man who pleads
to be left alone
let me grow my garden,
he says,
you'll forget to
water them
in the light I see him smiling,
reminiscing the memories
I can no longer remember.
like snowflakes
the wind roars in my ears
like an old man who pleads
to be left alone
let me grow my garden,
he says,
you'll forget to
water them
in the light I see him smiling,
reminiscing the memories
I can no longer remember.
