Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Back On Track
Your words are very uplifting,
On today of all days
Where I spilling my tears from the chalice that held them,
And expected to grow some sorrow.
You brought me back to reality,
But helped me fade back to my dreams.
To know that you were the one
Who helped me overcome it all,
But also forced me back into my shell,
The memories are intimidating.
The cold forces into our nostrils,
And we breathe out the freeze,
Trickling down our anger to the ground,
Like a leaky faucet, never to be fixed.
So many days have you taken my hand
To force me back to the surreal life
That accompanied me on this journey.
I wish I could see the meaning inside of you,
If only you were as translucent as your body,
Then maybe I could see through
To the goodness (or badness) in your heart,
Or whatever it is that helps me get
Back on track.
