Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

You Can't Hurt Me

Could you die for me
If you knew my insides were sick?
Could you come to me
While I live in my poverty?
Could you learn to love me
If I were the last one on earth?
Or would you swill me out of this world,
Simply because you don't know the real me?

You assume too much.
You think I'm snotty and mean but
Have you ever stepped into my shoes
And walked the neighborhood of lugubriosity as I have?

You don't know me.
I have nothing that I want you to ask me.
Sad, you are.
Trying to detach me from who I am,
Make me change when I refuse.
I don't care,
Say what you will.

You can't hurt me.
