Kissing Through The Tears
Prologue: The stars dance over the ocean, the water cold as ice You do have a lovely smile and I hate to think that you can be sad Cheer up! just like a pretty singer you are Even that Simon guy on "American Idol" would have to agree He would no doubt be blinded by your beauty and give you the prize ....bill james Thanks! I needed that for a consolation in this heart that grieves for nobody that exists In victory and defeat, in joy and grief, a poet's poem emerged from me nonetheless But somehow tragedy and grief inspire lot of emotions to make this pen scribbles Sometimes u will see the beauty and courage of a lady in the least of her happiness ....cynthia Close your eyes, it is easier to feel than look The eyes to the soul can be read like a sad book With every sentence another cry Every paragraph another tear from the eye Those words that console are like soothing morning breeze A great comfort over grief for someone who didnt exist Words of relief now burning to passion and desire Perhaps like a king in a faraway castle or my knight or squire Under the sad and pale moonlight Tears that shed are like pearls so bright Its missery is dark as enfolds in the night Hoping there's tomorrow of good insight Those precious tears mix with their lips As they lose each other in their final kiss Memories to hold in eternal bliss But here to stay to lift each other's wish Oceans of water and time apart Their kiss stretches as does their heart Cry a river when time to depart Leaving is like a knife cut so sharp Parting is such sweet sorrow isn't true But value is drawn all this life through And love is something that it seems we hardly knew Bitter it maybe but joy in the end we view... 
NOTES: I was saddened by the loss of Robert Johnson ...swept as quickly as it appears, a roaring thunder from the start grown wounded lion in the end...a meek lamb of sweet words but honesty I'd always doubt. Honesty makes love grow, lies kill it... Thanks for all those comforting words...Bill James! and this poem in its infancy as we composed them line per line one familiar day while on chat.
