And So She Ran…And Ran…Out of the darkness, into the light, Now the path of life is her choice, A choice that will be hers and hers alone, No longer afraid to use her voice! And now when I see her happy face, I know that she did the right thing, And to see the look within those eyes, Well, it makes a person's heart sing! And never will she shed hurtful tears, For her she is now fulfilled with a life, A life of happiness and goodness, No more the harshness of a hurtful life. Abuse, there is no excuse for abuse, For behaving in that manner so cruel, For beating and punching a woman…! That's not a man, that's a weak fool! So throw off your fears and torment, And make that life you deserve good and true! For no-one can make that choice for you, It's something only you can do! ...She Did...
